6 T. hot bacon drippings (or oil)
2 heaping T. flour
1 t. salt
1 t. black pepper
2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat hot bacon drippings in a skillet. Add flour, salt and pepper . Cook over medium heat until lightly brown. Stir milk in slowly and stir constantly until smooth and slightly thick. Serve immediately.
