Mini Maple Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Ingredients: 2/3 c milk 1/3 c maple syrup 1/3 c softened butter 1 egg 3/4 tsp salt 3 c flour (bread flour if you have it or regular if not) 1 package (1/4 ounce active dry yeast)
Filling: 1/2 c packed brown sugar 2 Tbsp flour 2-4 tsp cinnamon 6Tbsp cold butter
Maple Icing: 1 c confectioners' sugar 3 Tbsp butter, melted 3 Tblsp maple syrup 1-2 tsp milk

Directions:In bread machine pan, place the first seven ingredients in order recommended by your bread machine (liquids and butter at the bottom and add dry ingredients to the top). Place on the dough setting and start machine. When the cycle is completed, turn dough onto lightly floured surface. Roll into two 12 inch x 7 inch rectangles. In a small bowl,combine the filling, cutting in the butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle half over each rectangle. roll up jelly-roll style, starting from a long side: pinch seam to seal. Cut each roll into 12 slices (use thread or dental floss to make clean cut). Place cut side down in one greased 13-in.x 9-in baking pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 20 minutes).
bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes and frost with maple icing. |

Notes: I am always looking for a good Cinnamon Roll recipe and this is my favorite. Using the bread machine is easy and this recipe makes 1 pan to take for others and 1 pan to keep at home and enjoy!
