9 egg yolks
1/2 can milk (chill, then whip)
1/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp lemon flavor or wine
1 tsp vanilla
5 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Beat milk until fluffy (set aside).
Beat eggs, add salt, sugar and baking powder, flavoring and milk. Add 1 cup of flour at a time and mix well.
Roll thin, cut 2" squares, slit center and end pull through like a bow. Fry in hot fat. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

A family favorite from Gloria Barkaszi, a church friend of Aunt Anita. This is a Hungarian recipe similar to the Italian fried frappa.
