Cookie Batter:
1 c milk
1 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1-3 tsp sugar
1-2 egg whites unbeaten
food coloring

Syrup:
2 1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c water
1 c honey
1 Tbsp lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil to 365º. Dip cookie iron 15 seconds before dipping in batter.

Mix ingredients to a batter consistency.
Dip iron into batter then in hot oil until golden. Allow cookies to dry then drip with glaze.

Glaze:
boil sugar and water to soft boil stage. Add honey and lemon juice.
