1 C. Crisco
2 C. sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
4 C flour
4 C chopped apples
1/2 C nuts
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. sour milk

Topping:
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together Crisco and 2 C sugar
Mix together eggs, salt, vanilla, 4 C. flour, apples and nuts.
Add to Crisco and sugar mixture.
Dissolve soda in sour milk and add to above mixture.

Put in 2 greased loaf pans.

Mix together topping ingredients to make a crumble topping and place on loafs.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes
