2 cups peeled and chopped apples
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 beaten egg
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Pudding
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup hot water
1/4 cup margarine
Directions:
Directions:
Stir together apples and sugar. Add flour, egg, soda, cinnamon and nuts. Pour into 9 x 9 inch pan. bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Meanwhile prepare pudding by combining ingredients in saucepan and cooking until thickened. Pour pudding over cake as soon as it is baked.
