1/ 4 cup shortening
3 T. sour milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 or 3 mashed bananas (ripe)
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and bananas.
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, and add to cream shortening. Bake 1 hour at 350º.
