1 small chopped onion
1 stalk sliced celery
¼ c. butter
½ c. flour
8 c. chicken broth
4 c. shredded cabbage
8 12 oz. fully cooked Polish sausages
2 tsps. Snipped fresh parsley
½ tsp. white pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion and celery in butter until tender but not browned. Stir flour into vegetables until mixture is smooth. Stir in chicken broth & cabbage. Cook until thick and bubbly. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 3 minutes. Cut sausage in half lengthwise then slice thinly. Add sausage, parsley and pepper to soup. Cook uncovered for 2 minutes more.
