1 cup raw rice, cooked
1/2 cup raisins
2 cups scalded milk
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix rice and raisins and put in a greased 8-inch pan. Blend milk, eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla and pour over rice-raisin mixture. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place baking dish in pan of hot water and bake 1-1/2 hours in 350º oven. Serve warm or chilled with or without cream.
