1 Tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 egg
1 C milk
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together and beat well. Bake on hot griddle.

To use this recipe for waffles: separate the egg; beat the white until stiff; add the yoke to the batter mixture along with 1 Tbps oil; fold the beaten white into the batter before baking in waffle iron.
