1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1-1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon white corn syrup
1 3-oz package strawberry gelatin
1 quart fresh strawberries
few drops red food coloring
9-inch graham cracker crust

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan blend sugar and cornstarch together. Add water and syrup and mix well. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Lower heat, still stirring, and let boil gently for five minutes. Remove from heat and add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Add few drops of food coloring if desired. Let cool, not in refrigerator, and stir in fresh berries that have been cleaned, drained well and cut in half. Pile mixture in prepared graham cracker crust and refrigerate. Serve with whipped cream or topping and whole berries for garnish.
