2 c. self rising flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/3 c. crisco shortening
3/4 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour,baking powder, and sugar together. Cut shortening in until it resembles cornmeal. Add cheese. Stir in buttermilk all at one time just until blended. Do not over stir. Drop by tbsp. (or with ice cream scooper) onto well greased baking sheet. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes.
