8-12 slices bacon
1 lg. onion
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 15-oz. cans butter beans
1 1-lb. can red kidney beans
2 1-lb. cans baked beans
1 cup catsup
1 Tbsp. liquid smoke

Directions:

Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon & drain. Crumble bacon & set aside. Cook onion in bacon drippings until tender but not browned. Stir in sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt & vinegar.

Cover & simmer 20 minutes. Drain beans but NOT baked beans. Stir into onion & bacon. Pour into 3-quart casserole. Bake at 350º for 1 hour. OR I put it in my crock pot and cook for about 5-6 hours.
