2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
3 eggs beaten
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 stick butter, cut into pieces
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. milk, may use evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Boil macaroni according to package directions. Drain and while mac is still hot, add cheddar cheese and mix well. Combine remaining ingredients and add to mac mixture.

Pour into prepared casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Top with extra cheese just before taking out of oven.

Mac and Cheese is a Southern staple and there are many different versions of the same creamy dish. In our families, we sometimes used a box of Velvetta instead of grated cheddar.
