2 pound beef stew meat
3 Tbsp tapioca or barley
1 Tbsp sugar
6 sliced carrots
1 cup diced celery
1 cup onion chopped
3 cubed potatoes
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 cup tomato juice
1/2 cup cooking wine
any other seasoning desired

Cook in oven at 250 for about 5 hours.
