Amaretto Chocolate Cake Recipe

1 box Devil's Food Cake Mix
1 1/3 cup water
3 large eggs
1/2 C vegetable oil
12 TBS Amaretto
3/4 tsp almond extract
3 C chocolate chips
1/4 C unsalted butter
1/4 C whipping cream
2/3 C sour cream
1 C powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350*. Mix cake mix, water, eggs, oil, 3 TBS Amaretto, 1/2
tsp almond extract. Once blended add 1 C chocolate chips. Pour into greased
cake pan. Bake 20 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Brush with 2 TBS Amaretto.

Mix butter and cream in sauce pan until butter melts. Take off heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Add 7 TBS Amaretto. Stir until blended. Let cool 5 minutes. Add sour cream, 1/4 tsp almond extract, powdered sugar. Stir until well-blended. Refrigerate 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
