3 tbsp. butter
5 tbsp. reduced calorie maple syrup
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
2 tbsp. Grand Marnier
9 1 in. thick slices French toast or sourdough bread
3 large eggs
1/2 c. egg substitute
1/2 c fat free half and half
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. Grand Marnier
1/4 TSR. salt

Fresh berries and whipped cream

Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

Melt butter in saucepan and mix in syrup, brown sugar and Grand Mariner, stirring until sugar dissolves. Pour mixture into serving dish.

Arrange bread over mixture.

Whisk together eggs, egg substitute, vanilla, half and half, Grand Mariner, and salt.

Pour evenly over bread and cover well. Chill at least 8 hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 350º. Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes or until light and fluffy and golden brown.

Serve with fresh fruit and whipped cream.
