3 cups plain flour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup lard
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together on a biscuit board. Mash in lard and butter thoroughly. Beat eggs in a large bowl, add milk and stir in flour mixture. Mix to a fair consistency knead as little as possible. Roll out on biscuit board, cut thickly, then put in a baking pan. Bake in a hot oven 450º, until done about 15 - 17 minutes.
