2 heads of cauliflower
2 tsp dill weed
2 Tbsp crushed hot peppers
2 Tbsp ground garlic
1/2 tsp alum
1 1/2 quarts water (3 pints)
1 pint white vinegar (2 cups)
1/2 cup salt
1/8 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cut up cauliflower into bite size pieces and put into cold water and let set overnight in refrigerator. Next morning, drain and put cauliflower into a glass gallon jar. After packing jar with cauliflower, add dill weed, crushed red pepper, ground garlic, and alum.

Mix water, white vinegar, salt, and sugar in a sauce pan. Bring to a rolling boil. Pour over cauliflower and spices. Let cool before eating.
