1 bar of soap (Ivory works best)
1 c. of borax
1 c. of Arm & Hammer washing soda

Directions:
Grate the soap and mix in bucket with borax and washing soda. I make several batches at once. When starting wash, run a few inches of HOT water and add about 3 Tbs of detergent. The hot water will melt the soap. Once soap is melted it is fine to switch the water to cold.
