2 cups sugar
1 c butter
3 eggs
1 c sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp baking soda
Flour--Approx. 5 cups

Directions:
Refrigerate at least 2-3 hour or overnight.
This dough will also keep in the refrigerator for several weeks if you don't get them baked. Good for Christmas cookies.

Cream butter, add eggs, cream well. Add sugar, sour cream, soda, and salt. Add flour and spices. Mix as soft as can be handled well. Toll, sprinkle with sugar if desired, cut and bake.
DO NOT ROLL TO THIN 400-425 degrees
