salad oil

LEMON BASTING SAUCE:
3 tablespoonslemon juice
1/8 teasponn dry mustard
1 bay leaf crumbled

HERBED BASTING SAUCE
2 tablespoons salad oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram or thymy leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw fish completely, wash in cold water; pat dry with paper towels. Lightly brush broiler rack with salad oil; arrange fish on rack. Brush fish with basting sauce. Broil 4 inches from heat until fish flakes easily when tested.

Broiling Timetable:
fillets 5-8 minutes each side
steaks 5-8 minutes each side
split 5-8 minutes each side
