1 ˝ pounds of ground beef
1 small finely chopped onion
1 16-oZ. can of tomato sauce
1/2 c. sliced carrots
1 c. green peas (canned or frozen)
2 T. chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Make 6-8 thin hamburger patties. Brown the patties on both sides. Drain. Put the patties in a deep skillet, add the onion and cook for a few minutes until the onion is soft. Pour the tomato sauce over the patties. Add sliced carrots, peas and chili powder. Cover and cook on low for 20 minutes. You can also add diced potatoes, corn and cabbage with the carrots and peas.
