3 lbs Ground Beef
1 Head Cabbage or 5 Green Peppers
1 Lg Onion
4 Cups Cooked White or Wild Rice
2 Cans Stewed or Diced Tomato's
1 can Tomato Puree
Garlic Salt and Pepper to Taste
Parsley Flakes

In a lg. 6-8 qt Saucepan, bring 3 qts water to a boil. While waiting...cut Green Peppers in half, remove stem and seeds...wash. Place peppers in boiling water to blanch... not mushy. Set aside to cool. Brown and Drain Ground Beef (Crumbled). Add diced Onion and Heat until Onions begin to Soften...Not Mushy. Remove from Heat and add the cooked rice. Season Beef/Rice mixture to taste with Garlic Salt and Pepper. Stuff the mixture into Pepper Halves and set open side up on Casserole Baking Pan. Pour Stewed tomatoes and Tomato Puree over the top and season again with Garlic Salt, Pepper, and Parsley Flakes. Bake un-covered at 375 for 45 minutes to and hour. Serve with Garlic Bread and Salad. (Can use Cabbage instead of Green Peppers, steps are the same only wrap the cabbage into a roll around the meat/rice mixture).




This Recipe is Dedicated to my Grandpa Boss who passed from a Heart Attack when he was way too young. I wanted to put one of his recipe's in this cookbook. However, my mom informs me he had only cooked once that she can remember and that they had called it Bloody Chicken! They all survived, but we thought we would keep that recipe within the family. I have yet to meet a bigger kid! Grandpa would bribe me with Ice Cream to tell Grandma I wanted to go on the roll-coaster again... for the 5th time. He is sorely missed by all of us.
