4 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk or half-n-half
1/4-1/2 c. filler ingredients (chopped mushrooms, hamburger, bacon, broccoli, diced chicken, onions, etc.)
1/2 lb grated cheese
sprinkle of nutmeg (1/4 teaspoon)
1 pie crust

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400. Beat 4 eggs in bowl; add milk/half-n-half and sprinkle of nutmeg. Mix well. Place filler ingredient (broccoli, etc.) in pie crust. Cover with grated cheese. Pour egg mixture on top. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes, then 325 for 30 minutes. Cool slightly before cutting.

This quiche is so easy, and I get compliments on it quite a bit. I like to do hamburger and cheddar cheese or mushroom and monterey jack cheese. I take two to my in-laws to share on Christmas morning.
