1 cup margarine
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoon vanilla
2-1/2 cups flour, plus 2 tablespoons
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups oatmeal

1 (12-oz) package chocolate chips
1 (15-oz) can Eagle brand milk
2 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup nuts
2 teaspoons vanilla

Cream margarine and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Add into mixture the flour, baking soda, salt and oatmeal. Spread 2/3 of the oatmeal mixture into greased 9x13 pan.

Melt in top of double boiler the chocolate chips, Eagle brand milk and butter. Add nuts and vanilla. Spread over the oatmeal mixture in pan. Dot with remaining oatmeal mixture. Bake 350 for 25-30 minutes.
