1/2 cup butter (1 stick), softened
1 cup flour
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
2 eggs, well beaten

2 Tbsp. cherry juice

Directions:
Drain the cherries and save the juice. Cut up the cherries into smaller pieces. Combine the butter, flour, and powdered sugar to form a crust. Pat on the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan (sprayed or greased) and bake at 350º for 15 minutes. While the crust is baking, mix the remaining ingredients together. Spread this mixture on top of the baked crust and return to the oven for 20 to 25 minutes (until edges just begin to brown). Combine the remaining cherry juice with powdered sugar to form a glaze for the bars. The amount of powdered sugar used will depend on the glaze consistency that you prefer. Spread on the bars while they are still warm
