3 large eggs
2/3 cups milk
3 tables. sugar
1/4 teas. vanilla
8 1 inch thick slices of French or Italian bread
1/2 stick unsalted butter
Maple syrup



Directions:
Directions:
In a large flat dish combine the eggs milk, sugar and vanilla.
Let the bread soak in the mix in one layer for 2 mins.; Turn it and
let it soak until it has absorbed all the custard. In a large flat
baking dish metal butter in a preheated 400 oven. add the bread
in one Layer and bake 15 mins. Turn bread ad bake 10 mins until
golden brown. Serve with maple syrup.
