Fruit Pan Cake Recipe

1 C. Margarine softened
1 -1/4 C. sugar
4 eggs
3 C. flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Can Pie Filling

Cream margarine and sugar well. Add eggs beat well. Add flour, salt and BP to mixture then add vanilla.

Grease and flour 10x15 jelly roll pan or a cookie sheet with sides

Spread batter over pan and up to the sides.
Keep 1 C. Batter out

To the can of pie filling add 2 Tbs. water and spread over the batter.

Use the 1 C. Batter to make a design over the top of the fruit

Bake 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes

Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool
