1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/3 cup minced onion
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup shortening
12-oz bottle chili sauce
10 oz jar grape jelly
Directions:
Directions:
Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, minced onion, milk, egg, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Shape into 1-inch balls. Melt 1/2 cup shortening in large skillet and brown meatballs. Remove meatballs from skillet and pour off fat. Mix together chili sauce and grape jelly in skillet, stir this until jelly is melted. Add meatballs to this mixture and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, or simmer in crock pot on low.
