Make a well in 5 lbs of flour.
In the center put
3 T salt
5 T crisco
1 c sugar
3-4 eggs (optional)
3 pkg yeast softened in 1 quart warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Knead and add flour until desired texture (should total about 10 lbs flour). Let rise and then place in pans and let rise again. Then bake until good and brown. (this recipe didn’t come with further instructions when Mom gave it to me years ago, but it bakes well in a 375º oven)
