¼ c flour
¼ t salt
powdered sugar
2 T sugar
2/3 c milk (approx)
oil or shortening for frying
1 t baking powder
1 egg, beaten
funnel

Directions:
Directions:
Place 2 inches of oil on heavy pan and heat to 350 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt. Make well in center and pour in egg and milk. Mix thoroughly with wooden spoon until smooth, adding milk until thin enough to go through funnel. Hold finger over funnel spout and add about ½ c batter to funnel. Drizzle batter in circular pattern to desired size in hot oil. Fry until golden on each side. Remove and drain well on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
