Mint Cake Audrie

Take chocolate cake mix and make 8 inch circles as directed or buy in pastry shop in grocery store plain chocolate cake (8 inch)

1 gallon peppermint ice cream
1 jar Brigham’s fudge or Smucker's fudge sauce

Directions:

Take cake and place one of the 8 inch cakes on tray or large dish.
You will need to have it slightly larger than cake as the fudge sauce will drip

Melt ice cream sufficiently to spread about 1 inch of ice cream on the layer.
Put second layer on top.

Freeze up to 1 week.

Several hours prior to serving:
Melt hot fudge in microwave and drip onto frozen cake.
Refreeze for 1 to 2 hours prior to serving
