Sift together 2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
Set aside
Melt chocolate in microwave and combine in bowl
with 1 cup butter and 1 cup sugar, 1 large egg and 2 tsp vanilla.
Add flour mixture melted choc and 1 cup quick oatmeal

Chill till firm and easy to handle
Shape into log on wax paper and make 2 inches thick by 12 inches
Keep in refrig for 2 hrs or longer
Bake 375 cut into ¼ inch slices and place on ungreased
cookie sheet 1 inch apart. Bake 10-12 min
