Brownies


1 2/3 cup (10 oz pkg) nestle chocolate bittersweet morsels
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup butter, cut into pieces
2 tb water
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
½ chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Preheat oven to 325. grease 8 inch square baking pan
Set aside 2 tb morsels for drizzle topping

Heat 1 cup morsels, sugar, butter, water in small saucepan Over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted or about 1 min in Microwave and stir, and put back again until all melted

Stir in eggs, one at a time until mixed in. stir in vanilla, add flour and salt, stir well. Add remaining morsels (except drizzle morsels) and nuts if desired. Pour into baking pan

bake 33-35 min. test with wooden tooth pick or by touch. Cool in pan or wire rake
Place reserved morsels in small plastic bag and microwave on high for 20 seconds. Take out of microwave and knead through the bag. If necessary repeat till liquid and smooth.
Cut a small hole in corner of bag and squeeze over brownie
Cut into bars
