Ingredients:
Ingredients:

1 lb ground meat
3 pkg crescent rolls (8 per pack)
1 tsp oil
3 tsp chopped onions
2/3 cup mashed potato (can use instant)
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:

Saute meat and onions in oil until cooked and then drain. Add the potatoes and seasonings. I usually save some potato mixture to make some with potato only and some with the mixture.
Unroll 2 triangles and pinch the seam together. Roll with a rolling pin on a floured surface and make a square. Cut the square into 4 pieces and put a small amount of filling in the center of each square. Fold opposite corners in towards the middle and then repeat with the other corners. Turn knish over and put folded side down on cookie sheet. (spray with pam) Beat an egg or some egg substitute and brush over top of knish. Bake 15-20 minutes or until brown in 350 degree oven. These freeze well. Makes 48.
