1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
4 Tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup flour
1 cup nuts (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/4 cup milk
1/3 cup Crisco
Pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes. Bake in a 8x8 greased pan.

Frosting: Mix together, bring to a boil, boil about 3 minutes. Turn off and add a pinch of salt and 1 tsp of vanilla. Beat until thick, spreading consistency. Be careful not to beat too long.

I double this recipe sometimes and bake in a 9x13 pan. Bake about 25 min. Also double the frosting.
