1/2 loaf of bread (white or wheat)
1 lb. of ground breakfast sausage
1 dozen eggs
1/4 cup of milk
1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a frying pan, cook breakfast sausage. Make sure it is crumbled.
Spray 13 x 9 glass casserole dish with Pam. Remove crusts from bread.
Single layer the bottom of the casserole dish leaving no spaces.
Layer sausage on top of bread.
Add a light layer of cheese.
Beat eggs and milk together in a separate bowl until fluffy.
Lightly pour egg mixture over bread and sausage.
Add a layer of cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste.
Cover and refrigerate over night.

Cooking Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Cook casserole covered with aluminum foil for 45 minutes. Remove aluminum foil and continue to cook for 15 minutes until top is lightly browned. Test center with toothpick to make sure it is thoroughly cooked.

Sausage can be replaced with crumbled bacon.
