2 eggs (beaten)
3/4 cup milk
2/3 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. sage
2 lbs. lean chuck
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup onion - chopped
Sauce: 1/2 cup ketchup
4 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. mustard
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Combine eggs with 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, milk, bread crumbs, onion, salt, sage, ground chuck. Mix together well and shape into loaf. Place in slow cooker. Cook on low 5-6 hours. Combine sauce ingredients. Set aside and pour over meatloaf during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Remove from crockpot and let stand before slicing. Makes great meatloaf sandwiches!
