Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 lb. frying chicken or cut up pieces
Salt water for soaking chicken
Oil
Crisco
Salt/Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Soak chicken in salt water. Do NOT drain. Pick chicken out of water and roll in lots of flour. Scrape fingers of flour into skillet as you place pieces in to fry. This will be those delicious "crumbs". Put combination of oil/Crisco in skillet so that there will be 1/2" to cook chicken. Salt and pepper to taste after putting chicken in skillet. Cook with LID ON until brown on one side, turn chicken and brown on other side - this time leave lid off. Do not over turn chicken. To soak up grease, line pan with brown paper sack and layer with paper towels.
