3/4 C milk
1 egg
2 C Bisquick biscuit mix
1/3 C sugar
Topping:
2 T butter
1/4 C firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup corn flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Spray bottom of 9x9 inch pan. Place milk and egg in mixing bowl and beat with rotary beater until well mixed. Add biscuit mix and sugar to egg-milk mixture. Mix only enough to moisten dry ingredients. Turn batter into baking pan. Cover with topping. Bake 25 minutes. The cake will pull away from the edge of pan when it is done. Serve warm. Topping: Melt butter. Blend in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cereal. Sprinkle mixture evenly over coffee cake before baking.

Make sure a fork comes out clean from the center of the coffee cake before removing from the oven. It can sometimes look done and the middle can still be doughy.
