2 cups shortening
salt

1 pint heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons vanilla
5 cups flour (more if necessary)
3 teaspoons baking powder

Mix all ingredient's, cover and refrigerate until very cold. Keep cold while rolling out. Sprinkle with sugar or decorate as desired.

These are the best sugar cookies ever! Recipe from my Grandma Fjelstead the cream she used was so thick a spoon could stand up in it! Probably why they were so good.
