1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped almonds
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons minced parsley
1 3-pound broiler-fryer, cut up
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed thyme
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place butter and garlic in roasting pan; set on heat a few minutes to melt butter. Set aside.

Combine bread crumbs, almonds, cheese, and parsley. Sprinkle chicken with salt, thyme, and pepper. Dip chicken in melted butter, then in bread crumb mixture. Pat firmly on chicken. Place chicken in single layer in roasting pan.

Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes, turning once or twice, until browned and tender.
