6 Cooking Apples
6 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Wash apples. Put into a saucepan with 1/2 covered by water. Sprinkle with sugar, vanilla, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil and boil until skins are broken and apples are tender. Season with sugar if to tart. Serve hot or cold with pan syrup and cream.
