1 deep dish pie crust shell
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chipped
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 ( 16oz.) can refried beans
1 (8oz.) jar taco sauce
8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
12 to 15 Nachos chips or Doritos
shredded lettuce
Chopped tomato

Preheat oven and cookie sheet to 400 degrees. Thaw pie shell 10 minutes. Prick bottom and sides, bake on cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees.
In skillet cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned. Drain excess fat.Add taco seasoning mix to meat according to directions on package. In small bowl,combine refried beans and 1/3 cup taco sauce; mix well. Layer half of bean mixture in bottom of pie crust. Top with half of meat mixture, 1 cup cheese, and nachos. Repeat layers excluding nachos. Bake on preheated cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven. Top with lettuce and tomato. Add additional taco sauce to taste.
