Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 (10 oz) jar maraschino cherries with stems
1/2 cup brandy (optional)
1 (8 oz) package semisweet chocolate baking squares, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Drain cherries and return to jar. Pour brandy, if desired, in jar; cover with lid, and freeze 8 hours (or until you need to finish and eat them). Drain cherries, pat dry. Melt chocolate in saucepan over medium heat. Mom and I have used chocolate that we make candy with or chocolate chips. I know mom has used the microwave, too. Stir the chocolate until it is melted and chocolate is smooth. Dip cherries quickly into the melted chocolate coating well. Place cherries on wax paper, stem sides up, and cool.

This came from Southern Living. Lots of friends
have enjoyed this. It's quick, easy, and very different.
