8 or 9 medium sized ripe tomatoes (about 2 1/2 lbs)
2 T minced onion
2 T finely chopped parsley
1/2 cup finely chopped basil
2 T butter or margarine, cut into small pieces
3/4 cup Mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
3/4 cup Cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2 in cubes
1/4 tsp. each salt and freshly ground pepper
1 1/2 cups seasoned bread crumbs

Preheat oven to 375º
Dip tomatoes into very hot water to loosen the skins. Remove skins and quarter the tomatoes. Put tomatoes in a saucepan and cook over medium heat approx 3-4 min. Remove with a slotted spoon,
Grease a 2 qt casserole. Comibe all of the ingredients in the casserole and bake uncovered 20 min.
Serve hot or at room temperature.
