1/2 clove garlic or more, 1 large onion, 1/4 salad oil, 1 tsp. salt and pepper, 1/4 c. chopped parsley, 2 Bay leaves, 5 cloves(whole), 1 tsp. sugar, 2 1/2 cups cooked tomatoes, 1 (8oz.) can tomato sauce, 1 (80z.) can tomato paste, 1 (5 oz.) can mushrooms, Oregano to taste, 1 lb. ground beef

Directions:
Place onions, garlic and oil in large pan, cook until golden brown, add beef and fry until brown. Now mix in everything except mushrooms. Let simmer slowly 1 1/2 hrs. If too thick add water and just before serving add mushrooms.
