1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
4 tbsp. catchup
1 pressed garlic
1 cup oil
1 cup vinegar
1/4 medium onion, minced

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the the first 4 ingredients. Whisk in the oil and vinegar until creamy. Add the minced onion and let stand 6-24 hours.

This is a recipe from the famous, elegant, wooden Tivoly hotel that was torn down back in the 1960s. It was located on the hill where the Smithsonian library complex now exists in Ancon.
