1/2 c. oil (scant)
1 egg
1 garlic clove
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
cracked pepper
salt
dash of lemon juice
dash of worcestershire sauce (optional)
4 slices of good bacon, cooked, drained & crumbled (optional)
Romaine Lettuce (torn in pieces)

Use a food processor for best results. Add olive oil, egg, whole garlic clove, pepper, salt, mustard and parmesan cheese (use freshly grated for best results). Pulse ingredients until mixed. If mixture is too thick, add an egg white, if mixture is too thin add more parmesan cheese. Wash and dry romaine lettuce; toss in a lg. bowl w/ salad dressing. Add croutons & crumbled bacon if desired.

I got this recipe from my girlfriend Shari and her husband Michael. To make less just use 1/4 c. oil and a small egg. John likes an anchovy mixed in.
